INVITATIONAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT
The Great Lakes Invitational tennis tournament was held on the clay courts of the INN during the twenties. In the above picture on the far court, far left, is George O'Connell, Mid-west champion. On the near court, far left, is John Hennessey, member of the Davis Cup team. Hennessey entered many of these tournaments and was never defeated.

BRIDGE STREET, 1927
The above picture, looking north, was taken from a spot about 100 feet from the intersection of Mason Street and Bridge Street. All the cars in sight were Fords.
